Why is rehabilitation after surgery so important?

Surgery is not the end of treatment — it is the start of recovery. At this stage, the right physiotherapy and rehabilitation play an important role in regaining mobility, building muscle strength and returning safely to everyday life.

When is it used?

  • After spinal surgery, including for vertebral fractures
  • After orthopaedic joint surgery
  • After fractures, ligament tears and sports injuries, to return to previous fitness

How is the programme built?

An individual rehabilitation programme is prepared for the patient’s condition, and recovery proceeds in stages. Progress is monitored regularly and the programme is updated when needed.

When surgery is not needed

If a joint does not require surgery, treatment with exercise-based rehabilitation, electrotherapy or intra-articular injections is possible. More: Joint injections, Arthrosis is not just ageing.
