1. General
This policy applies to the website of Dr. Aghalar Javadov, specialist physician in physical medicine and rehabilitation (the “site”), and explains how personal data is processed when you use it. The owner of the site, Dr. Aghalar Javadov (the “doctor”), is responsible for the processing of personal data related to the site.
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Personal Data” and this policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not send data through the form on the site.
2. What data is processed and why
Appointment form
On the Contact page you enter your name and phone number (required) and, if you wish, the topic and a message. The form does not send these details to the site’s server: pressing the button opens WhatsApp on your device with a ready message addressed to +994 70 282 80 55. If you send the message, the doctor receives your name, phone number and message, together with the profile details that WhatsApp itself displays.
Purpose: to reply to your request, agree an appointment time and give you information about the appointment.
Phone, WhatsApp and e-mail
When you call the doctor or write via WhatsApp or e-mail, your phone number, e-mail address and what you send are used only to reply to you and to arrange the appointment.
Technical data
The software of the server that hosts the site may automatically record standard technical data for each request: IP address, date and time, the address of the page opened, browser and operating-system details, and the referring page. These logs are needed to run and protect the site, are kept under the hosting provider’s rules, and are not used to identify visitors or for advertising.
Search
The site search runs on your device, inside the browser: the file the search needs is downloaded from the server, but what you type is not sent to it. When the search page opens with a query (for example, through the “All results” link), the query appears in the page address and may be recorded in the technical logs.
Browser storage
The settings you choose in the accessibility window (colour theme, text size, contrast and so on) are kept in your browser’s storage (localStorage, key “ac-a11y”) so that they also apply on other pages. This data does not leave your device. You can clear it with the “Reset settings” button in the accessibility window or by clearing the site’s data in your browser.
Digital business card
The “Add to contacts” button downloads the doctor’s contact details (a vCard file) to your device. No information about you is collected in the process.
3. Cookies and analytics
The site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics, advertising or social-media tracking scripts. The Google map on the Contact page is loaded from Google’s servers, so Google may set its own cookies. You can restrict third-party cookies in your browser settings.
4. Third-party services
Some parts of the site are loaded from other services. Your browser then connects directly to their servers, which process your IP address and browser details under their own rules:
- Google Fonts — the site’s fonts are loaded from Google’s servers on every page.
- Google Maps — the map on the Contact page and the map links on the home and Contact pages.
- YouTube — on the Media and press page, video preview images are loaded from YouTube’s server, and the videos open on YouTube.
- WhatsApp — the form and the WhatsApp buttons open the WhatsApp app or website; conversations are subject to WhatsApp’s rules.

The site also links to Instagram, PubMed and the websites of clinics and publications; once you follow such a link, that site’s own rules apply.
5. Sharing of data
The doctor does not sell your data or pass it to third parties for advertising. Data may be shared only:
- where needed to arrange the appointment — with the medical facility where the appointment takes place, and only to the extent needed for that purpose;
- where the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan requires it — at the request of the competent public authorities;
- with your consent.
6. How long data is kept
Details you send with a request are kept only as long as needed to answer the request and arrange the appointment, or for the period required by law. WhatsApp conversations are stored in the WhatsApp app; you can delete them on your own device at any time.
7. Health information
A name and a phone number are enough to book an appointment. You are not asked to send detailed medical records, test results or other sensitive information through the form or in messages — these are better discussed with the doctor at the appointment. Medical records kept while care is provided at a clinic are governed not by this policy but by that facility’s rules and by law.
8. Children
A request for a child’s appointment is made by a parent or another legal representative. The site is not intended to collect personal data directly from children.
9. Your rights
You have the right to:
- find out what data about you is processed;
- ask for inaccurate or outdated data to be corrected;
- ask for data to be deleted where the law provides for it;
- withdraw your consent to the processing of your data.

10. Security
The site opens only over an encrypted HTTPS connection and stores no user accounts or passwords. Even so, no transfer of data over the internet is entirely free of risk, so sensitive information should not be sent through open channels.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the site or the law changes. The current version is always on this page; the date of the last update is shown at the top.
